For Friedman Benda’s annual participation at Design Miami/, the gallery will present a setting that reimagines long, lazy summer afternoons within the setting of a design fair. Through a panoply of rich textures and exquisite materials, architect Lelia Arruda will recreate a visual landscape that evokes nostalgic summertime memories: daydreaming on the porch, playing card games on a veranda table or reclining with a novel on a lounge chair.
Designers on view will include: Fernando and Humberto Campana, Wendell Castle, Najla El Zein, gt2P (Great Things to People), Misha Kahn, Adam Silverman, Ettore Sottsass, Faye Toogood, Jonathan Trayte, as well as a custom collaboration with Calico Wallpaper.
