In 1999 Clémence Krzentowski and her husband Didier founded Galerie Kreo in Paris. It immediately set a template for international design, serving as a “laboratory-space” for a newly ambitious field. Over the years since, Kreo has remained central to design discourse, presenting figures such as Virgil Abloh, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Hella Jongerius, Marc Newson, and many others. This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from Clémence Krzentowski about the gallery’s history and the creative energies that it has anchored for over two decades.
